James Holmes' lawyers have spoken out about their client -- and they're asking for more time to evaluate his current mental state. Read on for more details!

James Holmes' lawyers appear to be gearing up to plead insanity for their client who allegedly went on a shooting spree in an Aurora, Colorado, movie theater, killing 12 people and injuring 58. "We cannot begin to assess the nature and the depth of Mr. Holmes' mental illness until we receive full disclosure," Defense attorney Daniel King said in court on August 9 in front of multiple news outlets. Daniel went on to say that James reportedly sought out Colorado psychiatrist, Lynne Fenton, and that an official hearing to evaluate their relationship will take place August 16.
