About Priyanka:

Priyanka Chopra was born to doctors in Jharkhand, India and lived in Newton, Massachusetts and Cedar Rapids, Iowa as a child. Being the daughter of a military man, she moved frequently and left the Jai Hind College in Mumbai after winning the Miss World Pageant. She was crowned Miss India World and later Miss World in 2000. She was the fifth Indian women to win the Miss World title. She made her film debut in the 2002 Tamil film Thamizhan where she played the love interest of the Protagonist Vijay. Her first box office success was with Raj Kanwar's Andaaz opposite Akshay Kumar. The film was a major box office success and won her the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award and a nomination for Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award.
